Beware of the mother who has lost her child, or a father who has been estranged from his family for reasons out of his control, for there will be no hurt a fraction of the pain they already know.
Beware of the loud and vibrant person who has been humiliated one too many times for her tenacity, her ability to stand out amongst the crowd, for she will no longer let her shine through again.
Beware of the beauty, who wants to exist in the world as everyone else gets to, but must dull herself at the fear of being leered or sneered at, a fear that has come to fruition a hundred too many times.
Beware of the person who is patient beyond their years, for they have seen things, taught by being in darkness and knowing brighter times will come, no matter how long it takes. They always do.
